Conservation Trust Funds (CTFs) are one of the best available tools to secure long term financing of protected areas and to provide financing to NGOs and community-based organizations. Green Eco-Land provides technical support for the set up of CTFs, including:

• Leading pre-feasibility studies in order to determine political and financial support as well as legal conditions.

• Drafting a detailed strategy which includes:

i) the structure of the CTF and its role vis-à-vis national and international players;

ii) the legal and regulatory frameworks of the CTF;

iii) the definition and main procedures for Grant Programme as well as financial projections.

• Negotiating and drafting Operation and Investment Manuals, as well as Business Plan for the CTF.
